**TOLIC Korba Receives ‘NARAKAS Protsahan Samman’ in ‘Prashansaniya’ Category at All-India Level**
**Korba, September 18, 2026:** The Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Korba, has been conferred the **‘NARAKAS Protsahan Samman’ in the ‘Prashansaniya’ (Appreciation) category** at the all-India level by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, in recognition of its efforts towards the promotion and progressive use of Hindi in official work.
The committee functions under the chairmanship of **Shri Kishore Chandra Patra, Executive Director, NTPC Korba**. The award acknowledges the various initiatives undertaken by TOLIC Korba to promote Hindi and strengthen its implementation across the offices associated with the committee.
The prestigious award was presented by **Smt. Anshuli Arya, Secretary, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India**, during the **All India Official Language Conference held in Navi Mumbai on September 15, 2026**.
The award was received on behalf of TOLIC Korba by **Shri Vijay Kumar Garg, General Manager (Chemistry), NTPC Korba**.
The recognition reflects the collective efforts, active participation and sustained commitment of the offices associated with TOLIC Korba towards the effective implementation and progressive use of Hindi in official activities. The achievement is expected to further encourage the participating offices to strengthen the use and promotion of Hindi in their day-to-day official work.
